一、用 途
1．作安全閥時(shí)閥常閉。當(dāng)閥前壓力小于某調(diào)定極限值時(shí)，閥不溢流。當(dāng)閥前壓力超過(guò)此極限值時(shí)，閥立即打開(kāi)，油液即流回油箱(或低壓回路)，因此能防U：液壓系統(tǒng)過(guò)載，保護(hù)油泵和油壓系統(tǒng)的安全。
2．作溢流閥時(shí)閥常開(kāi)常溢流。該閥與節(jié)流元件及負(fù)載并聯(lián)，隨著工作機(jī)構(gòu)需油量的不同，閥的溢油量時(shí)大時(shí)小，以調(diào)節(jié)及平衡進(jìn)人液壓系統(tǒng)中的流量，使液壓系統(tǒng)中的壓力保持恒定。板式中壓溢流閥有進(jìn)出口各一個(gè)，但管式中壓溢淹閥有兩進(jìn)口及一出口。管式。板式中壓溢流閥都帶有一卸荷口，平時(shí)關(guān)閉，亦只有在關(guān)閉時(shí)起溢流作用。

4．高低壓多級(jí)控制。用換向閥將濫流閥遙控口和幾個(gè)遠(yuǎn)程調(diào)壓閥連接，能在主溢流閥設(shè)定壓力范圍內(nèi)實(shí)現(xiàn)高低壓多級(jí)控制。
5．作卸荷閥。用換向閥將溢流閥卸荷口和油箱連接，可使油路卸荷。
6．在液壓元件試驗(yàn)時(shí)，溢流閥也可當(dāng)節(jié)流閥進(jìn)行加載。
